What was the highlight of Lannalodge
Good overnight stay, great grounds for walking. Versatile and sufficient breakfast.
The protest is nice and the grounds allow for a long refreshing walk around the golf course. The restaurant at the hotel offers Nordic meals with a selection of wines. A well equipped gym includes a wide variety of equity and a yoga room and breakfast is versatile Scandinavia fare. Bowling alley across the road offers 4 lanes with shoes and bowls included in the 55 minute price. Rooms are somewhat bare and do not offer coffee facilities. They are small but clean.
The reception does not provide information on the facilities and first answer is that the bowling alley is and pools are closed. And yes, while the pool was closed, reportedly die to bad weather but the bowling alley turn up to be open and available. We stumbled upon the gym and were able to do a session of yoga with our own mats. However, it a welcome to the facilities was guarded if not reticent.
